One login to be provided per Associate using the email address that was used to sign-up to Launch Lab. Any profane or inappropriate language or behaviour will result in removal from the networking tool and from the Launch Lab network. Distribution of the voucher code outside of the Launch Lab Associate network may result in removal from the network. If used by parties outside the network, those parties may be charged full price.
CONTRACTOR REFERRAL OFFER (AVAILABLE TO ALL CONTRACTORS IN OUR NETWORK)
Refer a friend or former colleague to join our Launch Lab Collab network. If we place them with one of our clients for 90 days, you’ll earn up to £500. Here are the T&Cs:
All referrals need to be from someone outside of the household of the party being referred. The referrer needs to be from a separate address. You cannot self-refer or be referred by your spouse or kids or pet dog.
A referral fee will only be paid out after 90 days of service working with Launch Lab at a Launch Lab client or clients.
That 90 day period of service can be across one or many clients and it doesn't have to be 90 days with a single client - it could be 30days with client 1 + 60 days with client 2, for example. The days don’t have to be consecutive.
The referral fee will only be paid out once, per referred party. The referral fee will only be paid to a single referrer. But feel free to refer as many people as you like into the network. That’s more tickets to ride.
Launch Lab will pay 50% of the referred party’s day rate, up to a maximum of £500 as a referral fee. So, for example, if the referred party’s day rate is £1200 per day, Launch Lab will pay £500 (rather than £600). If their day rate is £400 Launch Lab would pay a £200 referral fee. If they are being paid PAYE, the day rate will be calculated as 1/22 of their month’s salary.
If the referred party has varying day rates - perhaps because they work with us across 2 clients - we will use the lower day rate to calculate the referral fee.
Launch Lab will pay the referral fee 60 days after completion of the 90-day working period.
The referrer must be mentioned in the referred party's application to join Launch Lab Collab when they sign up.
Referral fees will not be paid for referring someone to join the network. Referral fees will only be paid if they work with Launch Lab for a client.
Referral fees will be paid directly to the bank account of the referrer and no other party.
Referrers can get referral fees (for as long as the offer is open) for as many people as they refer and are placed.
Offer open until August 31st, 2022. The referral fee will be paid as long as the candidate has started their 90 days of service before this date and meets the threshold of 90 days within 6 months of the offer end date (by February 2023).
NEW LOGO REFERRAL SCHEME (AVAILABLE TO ALL CONTRACTORS IN OUR NETWORK)
New logo work is defined as “any work for a company, organisation or subsidiary that Launch Lab is not currently providing services to or a company, organisation or subsidiary for which Launch Lab has not had discussions about providing services to in the past”.
The referral fee will be equivalent to 5% of the total invoice for months 1, 2 and 3 of the engagement. If the engagement is less than 3 months, the referrer will earn 5% of the total engagement for the length of that first project.
Launch Lab will pay a monthly payment, 45 days after the completion of each calendar month for which an invoice is produced to the referred client.
Referral fees will be paid directly to the bank account of the referrer and no other party.
DISCOUNTED BUSINESS INSURANCE (AVAILABLE TO ALL CONTRACTORS IN OUR NETWORK)
Our insurance partner, Kingsbridge are able to offer Professional Indemnity, Public Liability an Employers Insurance whilst providing a 10% discount to the premium.
IR35 ASSESSMENTS (AVAILABLE TO ASSOCIATES ENGAGED ON LAUNCH LAB ENGAGEMENTS)
Launch Lab facilitate IR35 assessments for all client engagements where the “end client” believes the engagement to be outside IR35. The assessments are as reliable as the information provided by both “end client” and “worker”. As such the outcomes, where determined as outside IR35 are insurable using Kingsbridge's IR35 insurance product, providing £100k cover per claim protection and £100k per claim legal cover.
The insurance is only valid if the information provided by all parties remains accurate. As such Launch Lab reserve the right to include a copy of the status determination statement produced by the tool, in any proceeding related contracts so that the inputs remain legally binding to all parties.
It is incumbent on all parties to inform Launch Lab if the situation changes or diverges from the details provided in the status determination to the best of their knowledge.
FREE ACCOUNTANCY WITH BROOKSON (AVAILABLE TO ASSOCIATES ENGAGED ON LAUNCH LAB ENGAGEMENTS)
When you engage with one of Launch Lab’s clients, we will introduce you to our Brookson Account Manager, who will provide their accountancy product to you and your limited company, with the first 3 months provided free of charge to you.
Launch Lab will then cover 2 months of Brookson accountancy cost for every additional engagement you take with Launch Lab, assuming you continue to use Brookson services.
FREE IPSE MEMBERSHIP FOR ONE YEAR (AVAILABLE TO ASSOCIATES ENGAGED ON LAUNCH LAB ENGAGEMENTS)
Launch Lab covers the cost of one year of Essentials package membership with IPSE when you begin to engage work with one of our client’s through Launch Lab.
You may wish to upgrade to a more comprehensive IPSE package rather than the Essentials package. IPSE can provide details of available discounts that may be applied through your Launch Lab association.
After one year, should you wish to continue your IPSE membership, this cost can be charged through your own limited company. Launch Lab will then cover an IPSE Essentials package cost for every additional engagement you take with Launch Lab (although it can only be assigned to the Associate engaged).
ENGAGED CONTRACT MEETUPS
Any face-to-face meetups will be contingent on the current health and safety guidelines in the UK at the time.
Every attempt will be made to accommodate individual needs to enable all long-term engaged parties to attend but the final date and venue are at Launch Lab’s discretion. The cost of travel to the venue will need to be covered by the attendee.
LAUNCH LAB TRIPS
The frequency of trips will be discretionary and determined by Launch Lab Exec Teams.
Trips will be contingent on the current health and safety guidelines in the UK at the time.
The offer of the trip will be extended to any Associate engaged with Launch Lab for over 6 months (currently) or any Associate who has in the past been engaged with multiple clients.
A budget will be provided for travel to and from the destination for each Associate.
Launch Lab will book hotel rooms and will cover the cost of any published activities. Some meals will be provided by Launch Lab with every reasonable attempt made to cater for individual needs.
Any other costs will need to be covered by the attendee and or their limited company.
More specific terms will be presented when the trips are designed and publicised.
