Launch Lab Collab is not just a tidy little rhyme but also a network of tech delivery specialists, consultants, strategists.

Firstly, it’s not “our” collab. It’s a collab(oration) so we want all members to contribute and build Launch Lab and let’s see where we end up. Essentially once vetted to make sure you aren’t an impostor; you will get access to the network tools and access to some of our entry level benefits including discounted workspace, business insurance and access to our referral and logo schemes.

Yes but that's not all Launch Lab offer. When you sign up, you get access to our community toolset (which will continue to evolve) and access to our new joiner benefits. But we also want to work with you. And so, as roles become available within our client portfolio, we’ll get in touch. Assuming you're keen, we're keen and the spacesuit fits, we’ll start working together.

Definitely not. You can keep contracting with any client or company you like completely independent of Launch Lab. When we both agree to start working together, you’ll just contract with Launch Lab.

Well, there are a few flavours of contractor.

If you want to work with us earning a day rate, you will need to either be operating through your own limited company or through an umbrella company (some roles will require this for tax reasons). If you aren't currently a Director of a limited company through which you operate and you don't have a relationship with an umbrella company, fear not, it's pretty easy to get set-up and we can talk you through the process.

If you are only interested in fixed-term, PAYE-based contracts, we don’t tend to take these on after helping our clients to assess them but there are lots of good recruiters out there who can help.

Full of good questions today. Well, firstly you get access to a wealth of knowledge and experience from other great contractors working in the market and you also get access to our perks as detailed above.

Second, if we end up working together with one of our clients, we offer really competitive rates and access to more perks still. And finally, we also work with some excellent clients, doing interesting and challenging work. More on that shortly.

If we then place them onto a piece of work and they complete 90 consecutive days of work with us, we'll pay you a referral fee of up to £500 for the introduction (T&Cs apply).
